This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. Individuals may have frontline management accountabilities and carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise that requires business operations skills. They may possess substantial experience in a range of settings but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. The Leadership specialization develops skills and knowledge relevant to leading teams, managing people performance, leading workplace relationships, diversity and inclusion, personal and professional development, communication and broader business management. At Innovative Institute of Australia, the qualification is contextualized using contemporary business scenarios, leadership case studies, workplace simulations and projects that reflect the responsibilities of supervisors, team leaders and emerging managers. Successful graduates may seek employment in a range of business, supervisory and leadership-support roles or pursue further education in business, management or related disciplines, subject to the admission and credit policies of the receiving institution. The BSB50120 Diploma of Business (Leadership) has no formal entry requirements specified in the BSB Business Services Training Package at the time of publication on the National Training Register.
