Location and costs
Consider your budget, travel time to campus and access to public transport. Check whether rent includes furniture, electricity, gas, water and internet. Allow for a bond and rent in advance.
Before you commit
Inspect the property, check that the provider is genuine and read the agreement carefully. Be cautious if someone pressures you to pay quickly.
Your rental rights
International students have the same renting rights as local residents. Keep copies of agreements, payment records and the condition report.
